Centralia College Centralia 1/28/06

A very special thanks to all who attended the Centralia College Presidential Scholarship concert. The audience was wonderful. It was very nice working with a talented group of performers including: Lucy and Justin Page of Fuzzy Logic, and Treva Blomquist and the Suits. Thanks to Candy Layman for her hard work in making the performance a success, and to Randy Roadz of KMNT Country 104.3 for supporting the event. It was nice seeing many old friends and acquaintances.

We will be performing on Saturday, February 4th at the Kit Carson in Chehalis. We are setting up the banquet hall for country dancing 8 PM to Midnight. The event is free, and there will be giveaways throughout the evening. We most certainly appreciate your support. Take care and we will be seeing you soon.

Country Music Review
Centralia  11/12/05

Once again I had a great time performing for you at the November show. The turn-out was exceptional. There were many new faces in the crowd. Hopefully you enjoyed yourselves enough to join us again for the next Review show scheduled for December 10. It was great seeing old friends and familiar faces. On Sunday, I spent the afternoon at Arcade Studio in Olympia putting together the Country Music Review webcast. A finished product is still a couple months away. We have recorded the past few shows for a compilation. Nonetheless, it is starting to come together. I will let you know when it is up and running. Thanks so much to the Ford's Prairie Grange and Janet Jensen for assisting with the show.

We will be performing in Portland, Oregon November 26. Join us at B.C.'s American Saloon for an evening of solid country music. B.C.'s is Portland's newest night spot - and only bonafide honky tonk. I hope you can make it. See you all very soon.

The Bean Tree Coffeehouse 10/22/05

I thoroughly enjoyed the performance at the Bean Tree Coffeehouse in Morton, Washington this past Saturday. I appreciated James and Melody coming in and backing me for the show. As always, thanks to all who came in and supported my music. Coffeehouse shows are always more personal than other performances. I always feel more comfortable performing in smaller venues because it allows people to see who I am more visibly.

I encourage you to support the Country Music Review November 12. I sincerely hope that this venue will continue to grow. I am still working on the webcast portion of this event. We recorded a segment of the October show, but like all broadcast recordings, it can be a tedious process to get the right levels and a quality sound. We will invariably get the webcast running, but it will take longer than I had expected.

I have had many people ask how the European promotion is going. Things are still moving very well for us. The feedback has been very positive and inspirational. I am glad that my music has been shared with a larger audience. I am looking forward to the production of the next album. I have already compiled a few songs for the next project. After meeting with my record label this past weekend, I am looking at starting the next record in February or March. I will keep you posted. I hope to see you at the Review in a few weeks - take care.

Country Music Review
Centralia  10/8/05

Saturday night's turnout indicated that the Country Music Review had strong and continued support. I added two more dates to the Country Music Review calendar - December 10 and January 14. I am still working on the economics of the event. Thanks so much to Janet Jensen, Richard Kimball, and Arcade Recording for assisting with the show. The canned food drive yielded some great donations. Thanks to all who contributed to the cause. I am compiling an email list for future Country Music Review shows. If you are interested in being updated about the event, please email me and I will put your name into the list serve.

It was brought to my attention that many attendees did not know RV parking was available at the hall. If you are interested in bringing a camper or motor home to the show, you are more than welcome. I will be performing an acoustic show at the Bean Tree Coffeehouse in Morton October 22. I cordially invite you to stop by and listen. See you all very soon and thanks again for your continued support.

Central Washington State Fair –
Yakima 09/25/05

Thanks to all who supported my show in Yakima. It was a short performance due to a scheduling conflict. I hope you enjoyed the music. I will look for you at my next performance in Centralia on October 8th. It should be an exciting and entertaining time.  See you at the Review.

Western Washington
 Fair -
Puyallup   09/18/05

Thank you for coming out in support of my show at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup. It was a little more laid back than one of my typical performances. the show was completely acoustic for a change. Overall I thought it went very well. Unfortunately, the stage that I was performing on was out of the path of heavy foot traffic. Nonetheless, the crowd was consistent. For those of you who picked up flyers about the next Country Music Review, I hope you can make it. A canned food drive will be held in support of the Lewis County Food Bank Coalition. I will be incorporating a live webcast into the next show. This should be exciting. I look forward to putting it together. Let me know your feedback on the Country Music Review events. Your feedback is very helpful in making this event successful. See you very soon.

Country Music Review
Centralia  09/10/05

Thank you for coming to the hall and supporting the first Country Music Review & Dance. This event is still in its infancy, but it has a lot of promise. I know that times have been tough lately for good country music and dancing. Clubs continuously close down, and those that remain have viewed live music as a necessary evil, lessening the size of dance floors and the amount of live music that they book. Being a fan of the old school, I believe that there are many people that just want to dance in a clean environment where there is an accepting atmosphere. The first show proved that there is support for this event. I sincerely appreciated all who came out for the evening.

I have been working on ideas for future Reviews, and of course the show is already booked through November. Next month the Review is holding a canned food drive to support the Lewis County Food Bank. It is the best time of the year for this event, as Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Also, I am in the process of developing the website broadcast aspect of the show. I hope to record a segment of the next Review and broadcast it via our website. For those of you interested in advertising, let me know and band will come up with an original commercial. This will be a new endeavor for all of us. Nonetheless, for those watching and listening, I am certain that you will find it entertaining

Special thanks goes to Janet Jensen for taking tickets at the door and Richard Kimball for setting up the Grange Hall, concessions, and supporting the event. I sincerely hope all who attended had a great time. Let me know what you thought of the event, and I will undoubtedly utilize your feedback. I hope to see you again at next month's show. Tell your friends and family to stop by and visit. Take care and I will see you very soon!

Garlic Fest
Chehalis  08/27/05

This was my seventh Garlic Festival. This event seems to grow each year and gets better with time. The show went very well. The weather was warm, but that didn't keep the people away. Thanks to all who came out and supported my music. A special thanks goes to Kathy Acevedo for selling CDs. I look forward to seeing you at my next performance in September. The Country Music Review is a new outlet for avid country listeners and dancers in the greater Southwest Washington region. I hope that the draw is good so we can keep this venue going. This event will be open to all ages, and is sure to offer top-notch entertainment. I will be giving away merchandise to selected audience members. Concessions will be provided by the Ford's Prairie Grange, and I will eventually be recording the show for a webcast that will air on this website. This is still in the works, but we are pretty close to having things in order. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Southwest Washington Fair
Centralia  08/17/05

I had a great time performing for you at the Southwest Washington Fair in Centralia. I played two shows and the turnout excellent. It was a great summer afternoon. It was good to see you and I sincerely hope you enjoyed the music. A special thanks goes to Ann Coleman, Kathy Acevedo, and Leah Guenther for selling merchandise. Also, I wish to thank Randy Roadz and Nat George for allowing me some radio air time before the show on KMNT 104.3 FM. We will see you at the next show.

Roxy Theater
Logger's Jubilee Weekend
Morton   08/13/05

I truly enjoyed the performance at the Roxy in downtown Morton this past weekend. The acoustics were great. I sincerely appreciate all the support from the audience and hope That you enjoyed the show. A special thanks goes out to the Fire Mountain Arts Council for inviting us to play. Also, I wish to personally thank Sharlotte Starr for the extra leg work with promotions and Brain Peterson for assisting the band with set up and lighting. Also, thanks to KMNT 104.3 FM radio and Randy Roadz for the interview promotion. Lastly, I appreciated my opening act - the Honky Tonk Drifters. It was the first time I was able to have an out of body experience and watch my own band perform. I was thoroughly entertained and thought they did an excellent job with their opening segment. I hope to see you at the Southwest Washington Fair on August 17. God bless -

Lucky Eagle Casino -
CD Release Event
Rochester   07/29 & 30/05

Thank you so much for coming out and supporting my third round at the Lucky Eagle Casino. As usual, I enjoyed the experience. A special thanks goes out to Chuck Knottle for running the lights and sound and to Ann Coleman for selling CD's and merchandise. I sold quite a few CDs to loyal followers and country music fans - I sincerely hope that you enjoyed listening, and you will come back and visit the band very soon. I was pleased to see a number of old friends - thank you for stopping by. Too bad that the dance floor wasn't bigger, you made the best of the limited space. Anyhow, I hope to see you all again at the next show - and mark August 13 on your calendar - 'cause we are going to have a hell raisin' time in Morton during the Logger's Jubilee. You will have to stop by - or you will undoubtedly miss the spectacle. See you soon.

Chicken & Pickin' II
Ford's Prairie Grange
Centralia   07/10/05

Again, I was happy to be part of this great Pope's Kid's Place Respite Center and Kid's Kloset fundraiser for the second straight year. The band and myself, all enjoyed the performance. We hadn't done any shows in nearly a month, so it was nice to get out and see the people and entertain. I look forward to being part of this wonderful event and fundraiser next year. I appreciate the other great talents that donated their time this year: Katie Keller and Yvonne Ruege. Of course a big "Thanks" goes out to the Honky Tonk Drifters, for backing me up in their usual fashion, and to all the folks that came in and donated to the cause.
